Each year, Americans observe National Hispanic Heritage Month from September 15 to October 15, by celebrating and reflecting on the cultures, contributions and the important presence of Hispanic and Latin Americans in the United States of America and those American citizens whose ancestors came from Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean, Central America, and South America and the Spanish-speaking nations of the Caribbean.
